Miss Eco Sierra Leone 2016 hosts SLAAM Awards 2015

Gree(n)tings everyone!!!

I hope you and yours are doing well. I've been doing fantastic, thanks to God's grace. A lot of things have been happening in my life the past couple months, and I give God the glory, that's why I haven't been very active on this blog. In the past couple days, I plan to get back to actively blogging by God in pawa. On August 14th, I served as mistress of ceremony along with Mr. David Buakei Vandy at the annual Sierra Leone Association of Artists and Musicians Lifetime Achievement Awards.

It was truly an honor to serve as host at this prestigious event honoring Sierra Leone's best and talented in the arts, sports, and entertainment industry. I recall attending the first SLAAM Awards in 2012 as Miss Sierra Leone USA, and so happy to see how far SLAAM has come in the past 3 years. I had a blast throughout the night with my co-MC and audience. When I was not hosting, I was dancing to the music performances. Congratulations to 2015 award nominees and recipients. Congratulations to Mrs. Kebbie Scholz and her entire team for yet another successful event. I look forward to next year.
I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music. Billy Joel
